Just because you're midnight it doesn't mean you can't lighten up. You do know where you are don't you?

i think sometimes my lighthearted tone is lost in translation here and in other internet correspondences. also, my brain is not functioning properly, so please excuse my whining.

Well, since you may not have been around to read me blather on about it, and since it will surprise and shock Rob and Dire to hear me say it (read me write it?), by far my fav jam sequence is the entire 6 min OOne on 12-29-68. Nothing, IMHO, beats the intensity and odd noises so perfectly suited to that firestorm of a tune. Not that its CREAM, but you get the idea.

There, Micah; I did it.

Ah yes, it's a total sonic onslaught. I wish I had it on my ipod right now!

MNC: pardon my forgetfullness, but do you mean to say you've been around long enough to recall my ceaseless drivel on the subject, or you independently were aware of it? Regardless, always nice to find a fellow Forumite that understands how special that "one" is...even if I have to accept I am posting on the DEAD once again.

I believe I've been here for about a year and a half now; used to be called "GennyBenni." I think I only actually announced that once, so it makes sense if you missed it.

I've definitely heard you talk about 12/29/68 several times; in fact, you're the one who turned me on to it in the first place.

You and me both it seems! It can be tricky sometimes getting the tone right. You can't guarantee that the way it sounds in your head is going to be the way it sounds in someone else's, alas. All I meant was that we're in the Grateful Dead forum and this place has a long and noble history of smartassedness, banality, tomfoolery, drastically off-topic hijacking, deviation, repetition, WTFery, and just every now and then something of passing interest concerning the Grateful Dead. Got to take it for what it is or not at all.

If I were faint-hearted I would have stopped posting long ago. I love this place; it's sort of the only outlet I have for my deep love for this band. Beyond that, it's a healthy collection of weirdos who never fail to make me mutter things like "what the f**k are they talking about?!" before contributing a little stupidity of my own.

*sniffle*

'it's a healthy collection of weirdos who never fail to make me mutter things like "what the f**k are they talking about?!"'

I've got that mutter running through my head on constant repeat - especially when Tell's in town...

It already is.

Hmmm, unless you were pointing at my crotch, to which I taken the strongest exception.

[ahem, if I understood correctly, that was the most perfect set up ever...well, except for most any post of Dire's, which is always a set up; but it gets old taking advantage of him, eh?]

Tell? Are you a mohel? Practiced in the art of abbreviating crotches??

Elaine Benes said the uncut version has no "Personality".

i do have a preference toward a top being down

although a bottom up can also be quite enjoyable

(i suppose i am kinda vacillating between the two choices - sorry)
